😏 If you know anyone who has a multimeter, you could get them to test the resistance of that whole section, on the plug that splits at the dash. Then just buy a resistor of that amount. That should work in theory.

It's perfectly strong enough. You'll always get people saying don't do it, but if it's been welded properly I can't see there being any issue.

If it does come on, the only way I imagine it can be programmed out would be using Renault Clip software to tell the car it hasn't got that sensor anymore.

I think they include any lights on the test now.

I'd imagine you could. Try measuring the resistance of the sensor as it is now with a multimeter.

I've seen that having the rain/light sensor unplugged can bring just the SERV light on. You'd have to try it...

Seem to remember it was etch primed, but never actually painted 🤔 This was the thicker wall roll cage tubing as well. You could have picked the car up with it probably 😂

A mate of mine had one welded like that on his Ph1.

They absolutely work. I used Gyeon Rim on my white track wheels and it's held up well considering the heat they get. On road wheels it'd be even better. Easy to apply and doesn't flash off as quickly as the Gtechniq stuff. You'll do 3 cars with 1 bottle.

It will be because the wheels were in the air while it was started. It'll clear itself if you drive it for a bit.

Outer lap belt eyelet is an M10 thread.

The lights will flash when it's reading abs codes, that's normal.

Can leave the caliper on the car and just pop the sliders out. They can be tight.

Not lining up side to side? If so, the caliper is on slider pins and will move in and out. If it doesn't, yours are seized and will need greasing.

On linear rate springs (which most are) you are right. It would alter on a progressive rate spring though.

Yeah you just wind the collar up or down depending on what height you need to achieve.
