I agree entirely mate. But this is what we are presented with on uk roads.
And making people more nervous about their speed means it's even more likely.
driving slower does not mean better though.
This is the problem, the road safety brigade are very quick to say that speed kills and all accidents involve speed.
I'm sure someone like the rac did a study on it years ago and worked out that less than 15% of incidents had speed as the cause.
What people actually do is see the signs and hit the brakes
We have an area near me that goes from national in to a 50 and they sit waiting directly after it. Guy I work with got caught twice in one day slowing down from the national.
Both tickets are around 55mph as well. f**king joke.
I get...
Don't think anyone is trying to blame anyone else
Just because something has been made a law, doesn't mean it's automatically the right thing to do.
There's some seriously stupid laws. Just makes me laugh that they're so hot on speeding, even slightly when they seem to not give a f**k about a...
I always make sure I stick to the 30's.
They are usually 30 for a good reason in my experience. However some of the other limits are a f**king joke!
They wonder why traffic is so bad!
Don't even get me started on 'smart motorways' the m20 is s**t loads worse since they implemented that s**t...
i disagree as well
It's f**king impossible on my motorbike. Slight bump and you gain 10mph from a minuscule wrist movement that you can't even feel!
Even my van it's easy to not notice 5 or so mph. Which is often enough to get done.
The whole speed kills thing is a bit of a joke really
Some of the most dangerous people on the road are the slow ones who pay no attention and dither about. And the slower you make everyone go, the less attention they will pay.
Scamera vans will happily nab you for being slightly over the...
You'll often find that 'inexperienced' drivers hammer brakes even more on track.
Standards should be fine providing you aren't over braking.
Ideally fluid, and pads will be on the shopping list, maybe even hoses if you're looking to take it things more seriously.
Get some tuition. Best money...
@Knuckles
That has nothing on some of the stories that I can't repeat on the internet lols
But as a taster some include a well known race track in the U.K. and it's Christmas doo's. Which involve copious amounts of alcohol St. John's ambulance wheelchairs being borrowed, bread trays and race...
Yeah lol, one of a number of fond memories I have of that industry.
I'd forgotten I'd mentioned it on here, glad it made you laugh as much as it still does me!
