He has an R27 as his demo and has ordered a white 197 Cup this morning as its replacement so its on its way.
The cup is £14,995 + options btw.
The battery must weigh 10 -15kgs?

Yes tom. The existing positive terminal has the main wire going to it + 2 other wires. It then goes into trunking and dissapears into various things.
I'm only after an answer and some guidance on an easy solution as i'm no expert.
I'm in the process of putting the battery in the boot of my car. Having run the 4 guage wire all the way through the car into the engine bay i'm now looking for the safest way to connect the new wire to the existing positive terminal wire (which obviously still has the battery terminal on it!)...

A dealer has to make a profit. They will put £1500 accross your car minimum to cover paperwork, salaries, rent, overheads etc etc.
Yes your car is worth more than £10200, £11,700 approx tbh - but you aren't ever going to get a garage to offer you...
I didn't find this a problem - I don't usually drive everywhere in 1st and 2nd? 3rd was fine and 4th, 5th and 6th are close enough to keep it on the power. Funnily i've found this on my Dad's 197, my best mates 197 R27, the three I've driven on RS trackdays and the other two I've driven on the...
