197 cams is intake cam advanced 7-8 deg
Group N is standard cams with intake advanced 7 deg and exhaust retarded 7 deg.
You lose a bit low end on Group N i believe.
Don't drive it, you have very low or next to no fluid in if the light has come on!
It also sounds like you're down to the metal backing plate too, that'll be the grinding.
Accessed from the driver's side footwell on these if i remember right?
Pull your old one out and then turn the blowers to feet only and full blast to get any bits out.
Is that a Petrol Blue 182 with a Ph1 engine, or a Ph1 that's been resprayed?
I'd freshen up the aluminium stuff with Eastwood Alumablast or get it vapour blasted if you can afford it.
They are the same thread on the 172/182 (M16x1.5) so i'd imagine they are on the 197 too.
The fill plug will be a plastic wing nut on the front of the box.
You'll need to remove the airbox and fill it from above with a pipe and funnel.
