Not spoken to Matt yet and tbh I am majorly busy now up until mid April as I get married in less than 6 weeks and then straight off on 2 week honeymoon. However I will speak to Matt and see if I can sort a date.
Take it this is your first track day in the 197? IMO just spend the money making sure everything is up to scratch in standard trim first, then spend money on whatever you feel the weak link is. If I still had my 197 and was using it for track days I'd just get a second set of wheels and some...
Re: The Confused Budget Track Clio!
Be interested to see what you do with that, as tbh it looks a mess! What engine is in it?
Good luck with it though.
Clunk at the back could be as you say, but worth checking exhaust and heat shield first. Could also be the clutch release bearing from what lewisflintham has described.
Kangarooing is a fact of life on the 197 and you wont get rid of it completely, it is certainly nothing to do with the brakes!
I've sourced a pinto for my kit car, but it's in Newcastle and I'm in Birmingham, so collection isn't cost effective. Any recommendations on courier to use? Seller has said he will sort putting it on a pallet so I just need to find a nice cheap courier to collect.

UPDATE
Just spoken to Matt and can confirm tomorrow's rolling road day is now CANCELLED due to the weather conditions. They have approximately over 2inches of snow there and still falling heavy.
On a side note be careful if you are having to venture out, some major roads including the...
WEATHER UPDATE
All looks good at the moment with no snow down at TDF, Matt is going to let me know if this changes and I'll update the thread if things change.
IMO Danny is simply catering to the budget that most owners of these cars have, and there is nothing particularly wrong with that, but you cant compare these to Eibach Sportlines, different class. Much like you cant compare Raceland/Vmaxxx/Ktec coil overs to KW.
I certainly wouldnt fit PI to...

Is a good way to see what different cars make, and maybe even get a base figure for your car.
Wont get any BHP increase with just induction and exhaust.
Its generally accepted that the ITG maxogen is the best induction kit, as for exhaust its take your pick, but I'd be waiting for the new BTM exhaust.
You should come along to the rolling road day tomorrow at Tour-De-Force
