I can understand in a classic when you want to keep it looking original; wire one up in the glove box and have the original light up as if it’s being used.
Not sure what you’re trying to do though.
They dropped to £160 at Tesco on Black Friday, Microsoft had dropped them to £180 at the same time, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they do similar again before Christmas.
If you want something to plug into a tv then a pi running retropie will play most classic games, and cost about £60 for everything from scratch.
Or...as @Cup172rich said, a PSP will work and it’s more likely to be used.

Slap a Samsung SSD in it and enjoy the laptop for a good while longer. I stuck one in my missus’s old first gen i3 laptop and it’s perfectly good for the usual browsing etc.
You need to turn the aux on in ‘Expert’ mode.
IIRC you hold down the expert button and it comes up with the option to turn things on and off.

Sounds like a typical Windows 10 thing with older WiFi adapters.
I had the remove the WiFi adapter card from my other half’s laptop to even get the OS to install.
All dealers will suggest the OE spec shocks, but as already said, the 172 Cup shocks will fit.
Just remember to get the rears to match, I believe they have been superseded to the 182 Cup spec now but they all fit regardless.
