I remember years ago watching one with 500bhp on the rr and it was used as a tow car for a Lotus Elise.
I have the same mats and the drivers one does slide forward. The Velcro is only attached on the edge of the mat which I assume is why it moves.

On a serious note, that game doesn’t have the most detailed graphics so it probably is easier on a bigger screen.

As already said really, don’t go mad. The most I would suggest is a set of wheels, insurance dependant. Check to see if they will hike your premiums up for changing them first.

But, if you’re looking at keeping the car original then I’d go down the route of rebuilding the head. At least you’ll know it’s been done properly.
As already said, too many people throw these engines away only to stick one in which they don’t really know...
That’s fair enough, I can’t imagine they’re the easiest of things to get hold of.
I do miss driving one of these though, they’re a proper laugh even as standard.

Had the latest issue of Custom PC come through today and it contains a 10 page pc building “masterclass”.
Well worth a look seeing as you’ve not done it before.
I had one of the original H80’s and the pump died after about 4 years. The new ones are much quieter and more efficient.
As for only needing a 1060 - you’re right, but a 1070 means everything can be turned up to ultra and he can make the most of the 144hz refresh rate. That’s what I do.

I remember trying to start up Forza when it first appeared on Windows 10. I had 8gb of RAM and it wouldn’t let me open the game, I had to set up a decent sized page file on the HDD to get it to run.
Just noticed the motherboard hasn’t got WiFi built in so that’s something to consider. I’ll blame the football, I was half watching it whilst doing the list ?
