There is always stand space as long as you book before the 30th IIRC. Once stand entry numbers are finalised then CS will contact FCS with the space we require. Limited track time left though so get booking ;)

I'd take that with a punch of salt if I'm honest mate. "Wear & tear" is things such as brakes and tyres also. I can't see them buying your car new shoes every year!

Warranty is always good. Regardless or not to whether it will cover the gearbox it's still always good to have if you can afford to pay every month. As long as you've read through the contract and know what you can and can't claim on etc etc.

Don't worry about it too much mate. People will always mention the bad and never the good. Don't get me wrong, the TL4 gearbox is f*cking awful but you still have to be slightly unlucky for it to affect you. Look for other fixes/reasonings for symptoms before hand. I have a feeling mines a bit...

Cost of a gearbox rebuild, removing it, all the labour etc is around £1.2k. Did you not do any tests of it first? Ie; revs over 5000 and switch between 3rd & 4th gear?

Just a quick one. @fairm010 has got a standard 172 spoiler and wants to put it on his Mk2 ph2 Dynamique. Any drilling required or straight swap? Cheers

Not really. The insurance is all split between colleagues that want their cars to go on it. He will be more out of pocket from a private job if that makes sense.

The bonnet is a stone chip mate, it's old-ish. It's the door that happened today! One person told me something about not having to declare it as I wasn't in the car at the time of the incident/accident but I'm not too sure how true this is?
