Sounds like you need to take it somewhere where they know what they're doing.
The new mechanic should be able to do basic wiring checks surely.
New bolts with nyloc nuts and they shouldn't be coming loose.
Never had a problem with mine in 6 years of track days.
There has to be a reason why it's doing it. Probably a simple fix too when you work it out.
I think they do mean the rear beam.
If it was just a part of the front arm that was corroded, they would still have said front arm corroded. They don't usually narrow it down to a specific area on a component like that.
RSTuner will work if you configure it properly, i've done a few cars now.
Where some slip up is leaving things plugged in or resistors still in, but turning them off in RST. It's still seeing them as being there so you have to remove/unplug.
You'll know if the steering pressure sensor is working if the revs rise slightly when you turn the steering.
It'll probably be tyre pressures. Mine feels similar when they're low.
