There's a lot of pricks about, amazes me that people move next to a race circuit & then complain that they can hear cars/bikes. Honestly absolute oxygen theives who should be put down.
I wouldn't buy one as I've fallen out with cars a bit as much as it pains me to say.
Can't be bothered with them anymore, once the 200 has gone, I'm going to get a daily & a new bike, leave it at that.
Agreed but it's all opinion. I looked at getting an evo when I got my 200, but my bird, Mum & sister both said they are hideous. In fact so did all the women I asked IIRC.
Guess it's more of a tool than a looker.
I like them though.
I fell out of love with expensive cars, work with them everyday as I used to they become like everything else. Shortly after this I re kindled my love for bikes. Fraction of the cost & faster. Also more involving & fun IMO but that's personal taste & they aren't for everyone.
I see what you're...
If it was me, i'd purchase another engine & build it up properly over time whilst keeping the current engine in (if it lasts) until the new engine is done.
Can see why you'd say that.
I imagine the P1 would be a much better all round car though. Not taking anything away from the Hennessey, but they've strapped a flux capacitor to a lotus pretty much.
I could strap a rocket to my clio, but it still wouldn't be a mclaren.
Imagine that green set up would be bad for heat soak.
I thought the general concensus was that most standard induction set ups result in loss of power..
Agreed. I'd love to run an Aston, but to have an Aston & no house, I wouldn't & couldn't do it.
I appreciate the live your life whilest you're young & that's fine we all make our own choices, but I see a lot of people who've done just that, that now they're older they have bugger all because...
It's just what you get used to.
You could drive a Zonda everyday & that would become the norm. But I know what you mean, my 200 feels like a rocket ship after I've got out of the gf's polo.
