used to prefer the look of the 197, but it looks pretty dated from the front in comparison these days IMO.
Go with what your budget can afford, better to get a top knotch 197 than a sh*t 200 if you get me?
They run a different box as mentioned above. And also from what I understand a blue printed motor & different ECU naturally. Also a diff which means they can get the power down better.
Over inflated renault specs as always.
Pretty sure the d/shafts are also sadev.
You talking about the one that feeds across near the washer bottle?
It does restrict your movement, but I have hands like spades & managed it ok enough.
Hi mate,
I did mine the other day. It can be done if you are patient, but if you try and rush it you'll end up cutting your hands up & getting riled in the process.
The nearside I actually found the easiest strangely. 10mil socket to remove the acoustic valve. Remove plastic battery cover &...
Also did my head light bulbs the other day.
One of those things that once you've done it, it's not so bad.
Bit of an arse ache though as my hands are like spades.
I used one when I did mine, wouldn't say you'd need it but it depends on how old your car is and the state of the calipers IMO.
The rears get absolutely covered in Sh*t meaning some calipers can seize/get sticky, a winder would make it easier.
Not worth it. The rears wont get hot enough to be effective, meaning they'll likely offer less braking than the originals.
Unless it's a track only car, don't bother.
