As said above on 1*2s the shift light is more of a 'You should have changed gear by now, you better do it quick or you'll hit the limiter' light
On 197s and 200s though it actually is a shift light, mainly because peak power comes so late.
You'll want to make sure you have removed LSPs before fitting though.
I have some spare bits somewhere, really want to find something to wrap and lacquer now just to see how it looks, lol.
No one has done it that I am aware of.
Also think you will have issues running it on a 182 ecu, so would need aftermarket. Best bet is get a 1*2 engine and put some throttle bodies on it, probably similar cost and better results
I'll be getting to Corley for half 7 and leaving at 8 so we get to TDF for about 9. If i was driving by myself I'd prob be able to leave a bit later, but in convoy nI wont be pushing the neeldle too far north...

Just hold fire, and if you really feel the need to get something quicker then get something in the middle ground. Panda100bhp would be a good shout for a newer car, or a 106 Rallye on a lower budget.
