I have a 2011 Mac Mini with the OS on a 64Gb SSD. All media is on an external and it beams my content (music,video,photo) around the house via plex or AirPlay to my IOS devices etc. Plex is fantastic as it allows me to watch my content anywhere in the world this way.

I've plumbed for a 16gb as I get music and films via the magic clouds however I regret it now! Few tests on Mac Rumors showed retina app sizes have tripled! :( Some of Apples pre installed Apps being at around 300mb and some games hitting well over 1gb!

Incorrect. UPS are also the best. You cannot track until it becomes a 1ZW number or similar and this doesn't happen until Apple physically hand the shipment to UPS. Probably Thursday night. You know it's coming Friday why do you need to track it geeks?

I have Plex which all works fine .. but heard a lot about XBMC and its nifty add ons .. I ave installed XBMC on my mac but how on earth do i get add ons ... namely ones which aren't downloaded via xbmc?!
