Gyeon Rim is a ceramic coating, lasts 12+ months. Needs a bit of prep to make sure everything is clean and oil free.
or Finishkare FK1000P hi temp sealant. Goes on like a wax, lasts upto 12 months, but probably best to reapply every 6.
Check the earth wires too, but it does sound like the alternator when you say that the light goes out when you rev it.
The cup alternators are 75amp as opposed to the 110amp for the 172/182 aircon models.
Stick with Valeo as other brands tend to fail fairly soon.

Couldn't say mate, i've never been under one. The pre cat sensors will be the same for both 172/182.
With my 182 the post cat wiring has an extended wire which meets the post cat, so it uses identical length wires for both sensors.
Closest road tyre will be 195/50/15
Although the physical width of the tyre will be more like 200. The 18 (or 180mm) is the 'tread' width.
