    New Garmin 3700 Series.

I understand your arguments for Garmin, but I prefer using the TomTom software to use and also think the routing and maps are better.

    Avon ZV3 tyres

TBH I really dont rate the Avons, but in your situation I'd keep them on the front. Much rather have the better tyre on the back.

I did that when I was hit in my Punto. Other party never once spoke to his insurers and took my insurers 2 years to recover their loss. If I had paid my excess I'd have been out of pocket for all that time.

    Rear light corrosion..

Take some brasso to the connectors, or a bit of wet and dry, either should do the trick. Or if your not sure what I'm talking about, and are local to me, I'll have a look at it for you.

Why are you paying the excess? They hit you, so their insurers should cover your excess.

    Xenon or HIDs?

To quote myself You pays your monies, you makes your choices. On a modern car with a legal alternative available, I would only ever do it properly.

    Insurance,why can't I get it cheap enough?

If you havent already, try giving brentacre a call, they didnt beat my best quote by much but halved my excess and there will be no charge for the mods you've done.

    Insurance,why can't I get it cheap enough?

Insurance does seem to be more expensive this year tbh.

    Insurance,why can't I get it cheap enough?

FLOL at thinking thats really bad! Yes its a bit on the high side for age etc but mildly modified cars can be hard to get good insurance on. Try Brentacre insurance, they have been excellent for me. Oh and if you were 19 you'd probably add a 2 to the start of that price.

Question for those who have used Hankook V12 Evo's

For the sake of £50 (£12.5 per tyre!) You'd be silly not to go with the far superior, longer lasting tyre. Even if they only last 1k more. Though to make it cost effective they only need to do an extra 3k to balance in favour of the hankooks.
