What he's said is spot on for a fast road set-up.
Suspension and brakes will make a much much bigger difference than wheels, stereos and engine mods (the mods shown will give you tiny tiny gains for the money)
I wouldnt bother with the maxogen though! Unless you want the noise it makes...
I looked at a carbon black m3 in a dealers the other day, didnt realise how blue the colour was!
Have a look on bmw parts on ph, theres a few sets of mint csl's with cup tyres going for less than 2k.
Deffo the wheels to get though, in silver on yours.
Ragging the ass off a 1.2 around town it'll sound awful. Absolutely awful.
On a faster car its acceptable, but it has to be something special or a track car for you to not look like a tool with a loud exhaust.
Nah i dont like them ali.
Csl wheels on yours. What colour is the car?
These werent bad if you really want hartge, but the first set are a definate no. Ruin the lines of the car.
Looks stunning mate! Lush! Bet you're well chuffed :D
Will look forward to seeing it at a mimms meet.
Nicole sounds like a good name. Guessing its getting a girls name?
Re: Why are the current cup splitter holes suitable to screw the new K-tech screws in
Eh?
Depends on size of screws compared to the standard set, and how they were removed. At a guess if they've been used a few times you risk the screws pulling out of the bumper and you losing the splitter.
That one was a custom track zorst with the recessed back box. Very small silencers, was nowhere near quiet! Close to and over limit on a few tracks, set off car alarms etc. Sounded good though.
Stealth looks best on a cup mate!
Wasnt a fan of my prospeed recessed either, box stuck out too much underneath, used to catch on things too as car was riding low.
The rear bench is practically the same as the material used on the recaros.
Worth getting hold of a 182 rearbench for yours, makes it look soooo much better.
Louise - Dont bother with 182 seats, the same as your cup seats, but slightly harder (mainly due to material used etc)
Trophy...
Gallardo looks ace Justin, dont worry too much about exhaust, will piss you off sat in traffic if you get one too loud. They sound lush as they are!
My mates interior was black on black with orange stitching, looks ace the one in yours though!
And new avatar needed ;)
Why do you guys have 172's if you dont want to use all of the revs?
Of course the wont break! What a waste of car.
My first cup was abused on track and taken for epic blats every weekend without fail, was uber quick with a very healthy engine at 60k miles.
Aye, very similar to the nikasil problem on the 328's, or buying a clio without cup packs and the cambelt done at 30k miles, not as bad as people made out.
Looks gorgeous that mate, love the colour!
Leagues ahead of a clio that.
