i have the pov spec 21 but im on 8gb of ram and mine flies i have itunes balsting, interweb open and surfing, aperture and CS5 open and im downloading from my camera and its still saying f**k you work me harder its an i3 btw

Re: Mac "must have" Apps yeah but PS comes within CS doesnt it ... i hate aperture though its a very basic PS .. except you cant edit half that you want skin retouching etc etc its s**t for a portrait tog unless all you want to do is curves and exposure

i like clarity .. besides i used a 350D for 2 years before getting my 500D and then ultimately my 50D

get a canon! you will at somepoint so save your money and do it first

disagree with all the above - £80 might be cheap but its cheaper to replace a £5-£10 UV when it gets scratched than it is to replace an £80 lens ;) my 1.4 is a £300 lens .. id rather not scratch it as its "cheap"

I upgraded mine to 8GB ram for £50 and it will eat most things now with ease. iTunes, safari and aperture and cs5 all at once with no complaints

Andys 500D would also be a winner and use the remainder of the dosh on a bag & memory card and lenses .. 50 1.8 for starters ..

Personally I'd look for a 2nd hand 40/50D for between £350 and £500 then a nifty fifty at £70 a lowepro bag about £35 and a pair of memory cards for about £30 you could pick up a 75-300 USM for easily less than £100 and then you have change and an awesome package
