not sure when the 2012 one comes out although there is a transfers patch out on the FM site for the 2011 version - downloading it now (and the game)

The processor - fine .. its the graphics chip that will be your bottleneck ..
Its average at best - games will be fine if played on low settings maybe.
I would definately recommend a machine with a better card for gaming .. MBP 15 high end or the 17'' .. both have a dedicated 1GB to...
Erm yes I'm aware of that but I'm just posting the general consensus from MR and 9to5 ... this is a clio website with about 20 people who love macs .. I was giving a wider opinion cristoper
110% if you use a MBP, MBA .. if you use an iMac or Cinema Display then yes its worth it for £21 but the MBP's and MBA's are getting best bang for buck so it seems with the gestures and full screen goodies
I have a 2011 13'' and i thought yep I'm selling up .. but actually .. my MBP has 8GB RAM & if i put an SSD inside it - it will piss over the MBA for a long while yet. Shiny new toy syndrome can wait until they release the ivy bridge MBP :D

its not functional with loads of apps though - i have a 13" screen i need as much space as i can get - a dock and toolbars take up valuable estate so i don't want them there .. launchpad imo is great
But thats what launchpad does - keeps all my apps in one place so i can easily choose what i want. The dock only shows me what i have open so i don't have to search for the stupid blue light - i have my dock set to hidden anyway unless i scroll over it
