I've seen a lot of pads break up on the leading edge over the years, come to expect it on heavy track use after a while.
I don't think they should do it, but a lot i've seen have after heavy usage.
I had a go with my mates Cooper S (Standard) out of the traps & I pulled away pretty convincingly. He was two up but I had a full tank of jungle juice he was on 1/4.
Even enough test.
Agree with the above tho, mod one & it'll be gone.
Yeah I've had yet more issues with them aswell. For some reason decided to try & take money out of an account that is no longer active from an old policy, despite admitting they had the correct info against mine....
speechless tbh.
Nice one.
I had mine at 21, insurance wasn't "toooooo bad" Running costs aren't great tho...
MPG isn't the best & obviously things like tyres providing you don't want ditch finders & pads & discs etc are relitively costly for what is a small renault.
Changed my air filter element today as I get them dirt cheap from work, pretty surprised at how sh*tty it's got in 5 months or so from new........
Renault say change them every 2 years? I'll be doing mine every few months tbh.
I wouldn't say this is normal for the amount of time it's been in?
I checked mine today as it goes, looked a little grubby & we stock the paper elements where I work, cost me f*ck all so just chucked a new one in. Can't do any harm ehh
Can't go wrong with the H&R coilovers or standard shocks & Eibach springs.
The standard "CUP" set up is more than adequate for most, but if you are looking to better the car I'd say go with the above choices & a good flat spot set up.
Car = Pearl white 200 (5-6 months old)
Washed at least once a week & always jet washed first & rinsed.
I have Mag's Tech Wax & Auto G Wheel seal.. Anyone any tips or info on what's good to protect your car over the winter (not over the top)
Cheers
Adam
Re: Dirty Clio's
Mines more the sheer amount of foliage that seems to have attached itself!
I had a good inch or two of mud in my arches I jetted out the other day.
As it's coming to that time of year I thought why not get a thread up for the dirtiest Clio on CS.
Post up your filthy motors....
Mine is hanging at the moment from all the local flooding & Country Lanes I go down. Will get some picks later.
