Put it in the boot, screw, or as I have velcro it down!! Doesnt skip. Right run the wire down from the boot, past the rear seat, under the plastic trim on the back 3/4 panel and underneath the seatbelt. Then poke the wire through behind the seatbelt trim.

Well after hitting a pheasant at 85, 90 at the weekend i now know how its fitted. 8 screws into the bottom of the bumper! I presume the holes are already there.
most of the time it is up to you to insure the courtesy car, but you should find your insurance company will insure you for the day free, if you say you car is in for warrenty work.
