Long exposures, usualy the longest setting you get is 30 seconds.. bulb you can hold it open for as long as you like. Handy for star trail photos! :approve:

I have the canon 300d and love it. It's my first SLR and it's really easy to use. The lenses available for it fairly cheap too. I just bought a sigma 70-300mm lens for under £100.

Went out tonight with my mates and thought id get a couple of photos while i was out. I like the boat, it just looks very peaceful even if the water was choppy!!

On the first one a different appature setting would help. (In manual mode if will appear as F5.6 or something similar, try a higher F stop)

Cheers for the comments! I'm going back there tonight around 5-6ish so it's a bit darker. Camera is all clean, Took a few photos of a white wall and brought the contrast up.. just a few tiny speckles left now. ALOT better.

Yep it has, I went down just as they were taking all the stands down.... all 8 of them. I remember it closing the whole place down when i was a kid, no cars could get through at all! I didnt realise they were flats lol.. learn summit everyday.

20 second exposures for most of them. I had to use F20 to keep the light right and still get the water effect. I'm going back tomorow with a clean sensor and lens lol .. see how the new lens works out.

F20 ISO - 100 IIRC! Was experimenting with the settings so they changed on nearly all the photos!
