Yep ambitious would be an understatement haha , just throwing the idea around for the time being, but the more I think about it the more realistic it sounds. But would have to lock away a few straight days to do it.

I plan on stripping the car down myself and then supply shell and parts to the body shop to rub down and prep and then re-spray the car.
My rough plan of action would be to for an external respray only and I'll call it a stage 1

I see, did you strip the car down or did the body shop take charge of the whole job? As I'm thinking of doing similar but it's cheaper if I strip the car down myself and deliver it to them .
Hi guys , contemplating a full respray including engine bay, internal and external strip out. Has anyone else done this ? Good or bad idea. Looking for suggestions on service manuals both OEM and other publishers that would assist such a monumental task at home.

Yes it will be the only Trophy in the country, so should appreciate the moment it lands. But like all things this car is very sentimental and i'll be holding onto it for the indefinite future. :up:
Its been a long time between drinks. But i thought i'd update you all on the project.
Well I have since moved back to Oz after my stint in the UK, unfortunately i had to sell the Trophy too. It was a very sad time, as i had an amazing time in England. :weary: Had the opportunity to get to FCS...
Take it to the police , Ask to speak to him and his parents, get an apology and payment for any damage lay no charges, give him a life lesson. (Restorative justice) If they are unwilling then lay charges. [emoji106]
