so whats the weight of a carbon fibre bonnet?

Does anyone know how much a carbon fibre bonnet from Ktech weighs? All i can find with the search function is people saying its about 4kg lighter than a standard mk2 ph1 bonnet .. but never actualy say how light that is or how heavy the origional one is!! Argh! Anyone?

What about the 1.2 8v clios, is there more work involved in that with it only being 8v?

Already in the process of being removed. Just spoke to a place thats going to make a twin exit 3" exhaust for me but i need to find time off to get it done! Working nights makes it difficult.

Well i changed the rear lights and tbh, i think i'll keep these on rather than get the ph2 lights! Need a new bonnet badly.... as seen in this pic... If anyone has a ph1 bonnet in red or Carbon fibre lemme know asap! :rasp:

Right been busy today and still have a few things to sort out.. but.. Car used to look like this.. So today i added a new front bumper, a rear clio campus bumper and a smoothed boot! and she now looks like... Managed to get a set of standard rear lights to go on to get rid of the lexarse...

Nah it actualy says Clio in the headrests not on the seat itself! Deffo leather too.

Glad im not the only one thinking that! The repair looks like it's going ahead through warranty anyway so even if the valves are not at fault.. its getting the head gasket, timing belt and water pump done under the warranty .. quite a few less things to worry about even if we still have to pay...

Ok, the Girlfriend bought an 04 plate clio extreme 3 1.2 16v from tyneside autoparc at the start of march. full service history and things like TDC sensor and lambda sensor changed. We took the car to donnington park and it snowed overnight so we got out the tent/igloo and sat in the car...

I use adrian flux and their spot on. Unless the mod increases the cars BHP the premium doesnt go up. Their not fussed about my exhaust either.

I see a clio with a very similar retrim almost every day when i park up for work (MetroCentre gateshead) and always wondered how much it costs! Didnt realise it was so expensive! Looks the mutts plums though!

Would it fit? Reason being im sick of the lack of centre console on my mk2ph1 atm and i fancy putting the newer centre console in with the little tray in it. it looks like it will fit but id rather ask first before buying one! cheers!

Looks nice that. Mines going into the bodyshop soon for colour coding and the smooth boot fitting. After that its staying the way it is!

Nice cars, I seen the blue clio at donny, We were parked up behind that.. close to the burger van. I was in the missus' clio extreme.. my driveshaft exploded! I've got the same shape clio as you and im wanting the same things done, nice and subtle mods. Mines lowered, got the 15" alloys on...

Most common fault would be the TDC Sensor, its located above the gearbox bell housing and is half moon in shape. Two 10mm bolts hand one electrical connection and its off. Usual symptoms are cutting out when hot and refusing to start! About £30 from renault. IIRC

Will do, I bought my clio i have atm with 67k on and the timimg belt "had!" been cganged (Its S reg) 2 weeks later it snapped.. spent 3 nights in the freezing cold putting it right :mad: ! Any other things i should look for on sports thats common?

Thats what I thought! Thanks guys. The insurance should be fine, I have import/modified insurance which was cheaper compared to every other insurer by £300 at least. Anything I should be careful about when i look to buy one? Common faults that I should look out for?

Im looking to buy a clio sport early next year by then i'll be 21 with 3 years no claims, possibly 4. I should have around 5-6k to spend and im looking for some ideas on the best model to get within that price range. I like the Mk sports best if im honest, theres a few knocking about near...

Iv been putting off getting a sport because iv been told the insurance is sky high! and if thats for a V6!!.. im only 20 with 3 years ncb, not much different! Im sure you'll have fun with this is wet weather :D

Black clio, tinted windows, looked like 17"is in anthricite(sp) www.cliosport.net sticker on the rear window. I was parked along from you at the cruise tonight, Red clio mk2 ph1. Nice car btw!

No it doesnt? I do this every weekend and I never have any problems with it. The haze is just a light coating of the polish not "thick" which i why i said haze not solid white lump :rasp:
