I'm pretty sure I' going to be buying one of these you kn*b! (That's right, I'm blaming you for no reason).
Set on it now. Damn you an your passenger rides. America was full of them as well which didn't help. They are cracking vfm at the mo.
Decided against the Z3 as it looks a tad dated and...
F*CK ME!!! TEARS
Instructor was cool at the end! I'd have gone nuts at him! I assume this being "everyman" footage was in some piece of exotica?
Just seen this mate. Keep the car and get on the job hunt pronto!Even if it's unconfirmed yet it'd be worth having something in back up.
Also, worst case scenario, RE: breaking for parts, you could have all the good bits off in a few hours with a bit of help from a few of the SE lot! Oh and...
Interesting analogy of the Speed, Economy, Reliability triangle shaped thing that I tend to go by... IMO driving perfection sits in the centre, but then that's me being a favourer of NA.
I like those seat, suit the car so well.
GF's uncle had a tour car RS4 Avant in Nagaro (I think that's what it's called) blue. The seats were like armchairs, like the ones below...
Excuse the MAHOOSIVE pic:
That's a good price you've listed with the mods. I wouldn't entertain much haggling at that price. Maybe stick it on here for a few hundred more in case anyone is after a modded one.
The ph2 rears springs I'll swap you a sea bass (used obviously) in the post?
I jest of course but seriously...
17 jelly babies and half a packet of crisps?
Have a look in the for sale section! See what they usually go for!
On a side note does anyone know how much my jelly babies are worth? One careful owner, fsh, belts done?
Suspension can be done in half a day by someone with no mechanical knowledge other than experience building lego. I am as mechanical as Mr Blobby and it was easy lol! Follow ChrispyClio's guide on here or post up for some local help in exchange for beer/moneys.
250ish at a generous guess. Personally wouldn't pay that as they need £100 quids worth of refurb as a minimum and 4 new tyres as not many people on here will want bu.dgets
Break all the good stuff off then sell on at the above price lol. No one will care about the niceties if it's rattling its tits off at that high mileage!
You'll make a pretty penny on all those parts.
That said, in standard guise you might struggle to shift it at all. So the listed spec does...
Probably sell the alloys, remove the tints and stick two tyres on the front and you'll be laughing as that's a tidy little low mileage car. Maybe 2500?!
Have you been doing loads of short journeys whilst it has been particularly cold these past few months? Could just be a build up of condensation.
Personally I'd clean it up and take it for a good long run if everything else seems fine.
Depends if it's a single alloy or plural "alloys" and if it has no tyres or if it has a "used" tyre/tyres.
Your statement is confusing. But if I use my spidy sense to decipher it, I would suggest that the value of a single used 172 alloy without a tyre will be entirely dependant upon condition.
Cool. I'll have a nosey when on my laptop. I know your not one to be offended by a forum comment but I hope my statement about not being cared about overall power wasn't taken The wrong way. Just more interested in the delivery :)
Chip any graphs from your car? Couldn't care less about overall power just interested to see the torque curve and if/where the power dies off?
If not, does it lag at low revs and where is the powerband (from your seat dyno :))
