Lol, its alright i know where it all mounts mate. Just wondered if you had eyebolts in for the inners!
Where you have the excess belt hanging down after it mounts to the harness bar on the cage, roll them up and use a zip tie to hold them up... will look much neater.
Dont really understand that... he's modified a ferrari, not created his own.
Would renault ask everyone thats fitted h&r's to remove their renaultsport badges?
Elephant always seem to charge a bomb for renewal. If you were a new customer it would probably be a fair bit less.
They're the same umbrella company as bell though... try bell for a quote.
They're not team dynamics pro race's though (the older version of the 1.2's were pro race 1's, and had a much more curved spoke)... got a feeling those are cheapy multispokes.
Does it say the make anywhere on them?
And colour, dark anthracite.
They adjusted the tension loads (was done professionally by a well known renault tuner) and it didnt make the noise before i had the belt changed...
any suggestions fred?
Mine does this after its cam/ aux belt change. Makes a whoosing sound at high revs (very noticeable in 1st gear) and was told that once the belt wore in it would go... that was 1000 miles ago.
Doesnt squeak though.
Is it gonna blow up, or can i continue to drive with the stereo up so i cant...
I hate prats like this.
Have you not got any hefty mates that could visit his house and see you got your money back?
Without receipts you've got no proof that he did any of the work after all...
Pointless getting a 1.4 as is no quicker than the 1.2, yet will have higher insurance/ cost more to run.
Id get a new/ nearly new smart or similar with warranty mate.
Get a 172 cup... should be able to pick one up pretty cheap, and fairly decent on track out of the box.
Also, far less work needed to make it into a good track car than on a phase 1.
