Sorry you're still having trouble dude. I'm gonna say whip it off... Once jacked up a rear takes 10 mins. I reckon you've be able to identify pretty quickly if it's shot.
The ebay one has been fine for me. But as Dan mentioned they are a tad flimsy.
Mine has been off and on 3 times now. Personally I've found the way that works best of me is not to over tighten the clamp, but use so much silicone sealant that it looks like Steve Wonder has been plastering a...
Nice review. I do quite like the DS3 but after my GF had the Mini Cooper S with the pug/citroen 1.6 turbo lump in, I definitely prefer the Clio's drive. On the other hand, she preferred the low down grunt for overtaking etc... So I guess it really is personal preference.
No good really. You need one car on indy rollers.
Standard cams
Belt change and 197 cams
Belt change and GT cams
Belt change and CatCams (in various profiles)
The list is endless. But unless someone has the time and money to do all of that in the same temp conditions, you're never going to get...
I really like the £6 dodo panel pots. Nice cheap way to try a variety, and I reckon I have layered 3 lots of banana armour on my VX and it's barely used 1/4 of the pot.
Interested as well, seen a few post where they've said the colour charging does little to nothing at all. I purchased banana armour on the basis of how easy it was to apply rather than it's colour.
Edit:
Thanks for the link. Never seen that. Very subtle effect that I think may be enhanced...
Have a search, covered many times. General consensus, worse than eibach but a country mile, then those that do own them it splits opinions as to if they are too hard or bearable.
I do like these. On paper they sound fantastic and day to day they look epic however I'm not sure I'd be happy with it when I fancy a hoon.
That said, they don't come much faster, comfier and better specced at that kind of economy. A fine choice.
I've flicked in and out of here every so often. So 4(ish) seconds better off with the new set up? Good stuff.
How are you finding the road drive-ability? What's the power like through the rev range and how is overtaking/motorway driving affected?
WELCOME MATT!
TO START WITH THE POWER FIGURE YOU ARE QUOTING IS PERFECTLY NORMAL. IT IS VERY RARE FOR A 182 TO MAKE ANYWHERE NEAR THE QUOTED BHP FIGURE.
IS THE RS TUNER REMAP A NEW ADDITION (THAT MAY HAVE SMOOTHED OUT THE 5K "KICK" SOMEWHAT?) OR HAS IT BEEN THERE SINCE YOU PURCHASED THE CAR...
Dual action is generally deemed a safer alternative to rotary if you are inexperienced, as there is less heat build up and the contact patch is spread out more.
With a rotary, it is often wise to use a paint depth gauge, as stated the DAS6 is a good beginner machine. Not to say you couldn't go...
