Well you clearly enjoyed your time with the car. Which is always the main thing with any car. I myself wouldn't have enjoyed a minute of it. 1.1 to a 1.3 sounds a lot of work for little gain. 1.1 to an SR20DET sounds worthwhile!

Seems like there's a good few up for this now. Should be a good day out! I'm up for driving a good distance. I'm sure most will be too. If some want to drop out then it's up to them. In my eyes these road trips don't appear too often so while everyone's out it'd be good to make the most of it.

Loving the F1s on the car! The wife doesn't like them , says they look tiny [emoji5] I love them though, look tougher and meatier than standard. Makes the car look a little less girly too, more purposeful and aggressive!

Cheers mate. They do look great. [emoji5] Were a pain to get though! The wheels came with 3 original caps. Had the badges shipped from Portugal, then tried 3 different universal type center caps, all failed miserably, no where near a correct fit Ended up getting 1 more original to make up...

Try just giving them a polish, may come up again without totally 're doing them. I have though of a snappy wheel a lot. Love the look of them... it's the size I hate though. Like a bus! Wonder if he does a shrinking service too? [emoji14]

Cheers for the tips. Need to 're do my front badge. Has 2 or 3 chips now, partly due to it not lacquered. Few other bits I can do too. Will be quicker using your method. Paint brake calipers is first on list though. Have a tin and fine brushes ready to go.

Finally fitted the F1s, and didn't manage to get a tidy pic. Dirty work pic will do!

I'll try that next time. How many costs of colour do you usually use, 3? Would be a lot quicker doing it that way too.
