    Dependent on things like roll centers, roll rates, CoG etc. Its all about vehicle dynamics, a subject so big people do PhDs in it. Billy Bob and his keyboard hasn't really got a clue.

    R1-Rs get a good vote of confidence from the Burpspeed guys. Ive only ever raced on slicks or wets. Done trackdays on many different tyres though.

    Lower arm bushes are with a look, get in there with a large leaver bar. Also have you checked the caliper sliders?

    Full wets are awesome but just like slicks. Tyre management is key.

    Use a high tensile bolt and and decent sized backing plate. Refer to MSA blue book regs for the best size of plate. If the bolt is too long cut it so it doesnt hit anything.

    My farther recons that in the 80s it only cost them £300 to dip and paint a shell. I guess inflation is a b**ch.

    Is it worth acid dipping the shell then building back up, like Danny said going through every single nut and bolt to see whats not required. Im sure Zoltan can make you a fibreglass roof.
