We have two fleet E90's with the old system, its just auto dips and uses steering angle to move the lens when turning at low speed. It's a long way removed from the new camera based system where all four lights are fully independent.

The HUD, you get a speed read out, next turn on the sat nav as well as being able to get your phone contact list up etc
The adaptive lights are just witch craft.
The power, combined with the 8 speed box over taking is just so easy!
