Ry it's basically a flap that's connected to the throttle pedal that opens more as you put your foot down. By enlarging it in theory it can flow more air and thus more power. However like Fred said its a waste of money just to do this alone. (Much like most things people do to normally aspirated...
It was an option along with other bits and bobs from new September orders.
I ordered late September, had estimated build of November but that's now changed to estimated December! :(
Danny what you mention is interesting as I'm currently planning/deciding on a in wall and ceiling install. I'm used to a fairly mid to high end style surround setups (b&w mt60 and focal domes etc) but really fancy something even more hidden and possibly full range.
ive been meaning to have a...
Gally looks fecking quality mate!! But how very dare you stray from CarPro! ;)
Had an ST on loan from my local dealer today and have to say its brilliant. Suffice to say I'm going back tommorow to place my order yippee. Spirit blue of course! ;) we will see how finest looks on it the wee Fez...

All true what the others have said, Rainsports have massive tread block depth(?) to help disperse water. Obviously this flexes and makes the car feel shite. They will improve as they wear but they are not sport tyres lol.

Nice! Yeah I thought all along the dreaded ring lands! Bit upset as I bought this engine due to its rebuild, knowing I rarely get a chance to do my own cars with all the customers cars taking priority! Never mind nature of the beast!
Thanks for your help Dan it's much appreciated it. I will compression test tonight however I don't have access to a leak down tester as I work for my self now and I thinks it's pretty conclusive it's fubar'd!
Cheers
chris
Yeah thanks Dan exactly my understanding on both the causes and map side of it. Was just trying to wrack my brains as to any other thing it could be. Got to decide what to do now
Dan that's right we chatted. Yeah it's been getting progressively worse. I was under the assumption that guides wouldn't cause excessive smoking from the breathers, just from the exhaust.
Yes on here. The map was mentioned before to be checked. If their is an underlying issue with the map, I assume the damage has been done? I have limited knowledge with maps etc.
Hi Dan, I didn't complete the build unfortunately so have limited info although it was done my a reputable trader. It had a rings and a rebore. Spec is 428's and live mapped to suit but was done a while ago. Other than the miss its got, it's still on full power and pulls well. I even done a...
Ok so we have a 182 that's breathing heavy from the breather and Obviously using a bit of oil in the process. It's been running an external breather filter for over a year but has been swapped now for a catch tank as it been getting progressively worse and pissing oil out.
Bit of background...
