Problem is, at launch they were giving fairly healthy discounts to get them out on the road and seen. Now they can't build them quick enough for buyers, they know they can charge 'full' price.

Other IK (focus RS etc) that are fitted that low have a water sock that goes over the filter to help prevent it sucking up water. You know how sponge can suck up water. Doesn't news a lot of water to hydraulic an engine.

Yep seized fella. Lucky it didn't rip the aux belt off. It's best practice to replace the aux belt and tensioner if your disturbing it. Oh and yes A/C has oil in the system! Good luck
One of my customers had a seized rear caliper which did the same.
multiple hits of iron x (a whole litre was used and whilst it was massively improved didnt make it mint
i would suggest maybe acid first then iron x, if not its refurb time
