    Not worth him doing it unless he's gonna prepare the surface properly, as will chip and look s**t in no time at all. Sounds like the sprayer doesnt know what he's talking about... you trust him to spray your car??

    The same suspension will fit both normal and cup 172's. Its the 182's that have many different kinds of suspension. I wouldnt bother changing the hubs fella.

    Get 16's? Tyres are cheaper, wheels are cheaper, car handles better, wheels look in better proportion to the car, you dont 'have' to lower it. Everyones a winner.

    If this is for your track project dan, id spend out on good suspension. Make a massive difference to your speed.

    Exactly what i was thinking. Why not get a slower car for a year, rather than pay loads in running costs for a car you wont use to its full capabilities?

    Stock? Certainly not superb. Other than cost why fit stock when you can have much better brakes just by changing the pads edde? Go for the ds2500's.

    If you decide not to claim you keep your no claims. They may charge you having had the car towed/ stored though, depending on which garage it went to. Wont be a write off fella.

    The cup racers in other countries (hungary for example) use the straight cut H pattern box. And yes, very noisy.
