Well, real launch control measures the amount of grip the driven wheels have and limits the Torque given to them from the engine to maximise your launch and then changes gear and the optimum point.
Chav launch control is just a lower rev limit when the car is stationary.
A cup wont reach 150 mph unless you throw it off a cliff. You wont reach 160mph in your clio without big power and different gear ratios. Buy another car.

Brakes were bloody superb once the new pads turned up. The stopping power is immense its just a little hard to modulate smooth braking on the road. Oh and yeah I cleaned it :o looking at your car made me sad :(
