I wouldn't say the cage colour matters too much, it's the whole interior and dash that you'll get the glare off. Especially if it's just a rear cage too. See plenty of race cars with bright colours/white cages.

I've done a few really wet days on them and they're fine as long as you've got a bit of tread left. Had a front set really low on one day and the front end was moving round on the standing water areas, but that would be the same for any tyre with low tread really.

The post cat sensor is just for emissions monitoring, so it doesn't affect the running of the car. The pre cat sensor does though. Mine's been on for the 3 years i've had it and it's dyno'd 180bhp. Probably just a placebo effect with the light being off.

My brother uses the Vredestein's on his Megane 225 on road and track, no problem. They are very good in the wet, we did a soaking wet day at Oulton last November and nothing overtook us all day!

How much are you looking to spend? Vredestein Vorti's are good for the money. Around £75 a tyre in your size.

I've used a Puzzi with Autosmart Brisk. Comes up well. Not heard of the circuit board failure on them before, surely that'll only happen if you let it overflow in the waste tank... It was the 8/1c not the 10/1 you've pictured though.

1) Possibly the pre-cat lambda sensor, worth checking anyway as these cars seem to love going through them. 2) Thermostat or air in system. 3) I'm not sure, never seen that before.
