They're a godsend when it's raining. My very first trackday was at oulton on a very wet March day, luckily one of the garages was unoccupied around lunch time so we jumped in it. Wouldn't do a day without one now.

Only thing that stands out to me is the 20+ minutes of toe out. Should be 12 as standard. Don't think that would make it try to kill you under braking though.

From what I've heard from friends who've used the Nankangs, they're not that good. I don't know personally though, so I can't say. Is the PMS shifter going to make you faster though? :wink:

Been on ad08's for 2 years and can't see me swapping yet. Was in the car with my mate at Anglesey with worn R888 and part worn AD08's and we couldn't tell the difference in grip tbh. He was just as fast on the AD08's.

Once you find the earth, which is easy. Unbolt it (10mm) and clean up the terminal and bolt with a wire brush and WD40, then bolt back in. Also remove the rear lights and check the connection, it's worth a clean and WD40 on them too as just doing the earth sometimes doesn't cure it.

Does your yellow fog light symbol flicker on briefly on the dash when you brake too?

Worth checking the key fob battery too. Happened to my mates, it would still unlock the car but the immobiliser wouldn't disengage.

Will be there. Usually you're name will be on the board outside a certain garage, if not, when signing on they'll tell you which garage number you are in.

Seal them up and then check the earth points for the rear lights which are directly under them on the inside. The water rounds down and they corrode leading to rear light problems. You'll need to remove the plastic trim along the boot edge and peel back the carpet to see a black wire.

Abs rings a part of the discs on the rear. The front rings are on the drive shafts. Usually would show an error light up though yeah..

The only other thing I can think of is abs sensor or ring. My brother's Megane would pull to the right randomly when the abs sensor was knackered

Worth a try. You said the brake lines had to be redone on the hard lines. Maybe air got into the system at that point? Even a pressure bleeder won't get air out of the abs pump, it needs to be activated as you're bleeding.

ABS issue I'd say as well.

Had a look at those pitking catches when i was last at demon tweeks. Really smart idea and strong too. There was a lad on here who had them on his bumper, think it was @-D4N-
