As above, turbocharged. And she'll be ditching the run flats in favour of some holts tyre weld!! For her needs the mini is comfortable, easy to drive, quick enough and has lazy power on tap even in 6th on the motorway at 70/80.
Potentially silly reasoning but car hunting is good fun and it got...
I love this so much! Mechanically sound?... All the bits that have fallen apart or perished are stuck on with glue in the first place lol so not too bad!!
Very jealous!
Stanton do a large DJ pro range. They get slated as DJ headphones but for day to day use they seem alright
Edit: If Bose ones are in budget and your big into your music I'd hands down get them. On the last set I tried the noise reduction feature was incredible...
I guessed this was the case. Unfortunately I don't deem myself to fall into that stereotypical bracket, however the bracket exists and you can't argue with the stats.
Those quotes are based on 22 years old (23 in Feb 2012) 5 1/2 years licence, 5 years no claims (now protected), no points or...
My GF lives in your neck of the woods... 350 mile round trip every other weekend at 20mpg (wish I could afford that lol), as soon as I'm settled a chim, griff or tamora will top the list
I know, always wondered why they were (old) insurance grp 20 as well :( I did however assume that the whole saga had been blown out of proportion, apparently not...
Admiral is consistently cheapest for me on confused, moneysupermarket and meerkat... The 182 quote there is with declared alloys, exhaust and coilovers as well, hence it being nearly on a par with the VX.
I fear that sky, CKnott and flux won't touch me on 2000 as I'll only be 23 next year
Numbers are nearly irrelevant, same old story of the S2K punching way above its weight in the insurance game, I just had no idea the difference was so significant!
Yes, I know it's all on statistics.... But seriously, how many S2000's get trashed resulting in this:
Spent an hour tonight playing with a couple of quote and came to the conclusion that I'll have to ring a few specialists if I don't want to completely write off the VTEC next year :( 1200 is...
Almost a year... Can't believe it. As much as I love it, and as much as I intended on keeping it till it broke/I stripped it for track. I have to face facts and I am already hunting for potential replacements!! Just wish I could afford to keep it as a second car!
Not at all, I think they look brilliant. Selective colouring works very well on 14 and composition on most is really good! Very hard to make stationary photos interesting but you were obviously creative (read bossy) with car positioning!!
Could ensure it's paid personally... eg a 10K car purchase with 5K finance outstanding. You agree with the finance company to pay 5K direct to them, then agree to pay the seller 5K. I think that works?! Someone correct me if I'm wrong!
GF just used icarcheck I think. £10 quid for 3 checks and gave info on number of owners, reg changes, outstanding finance, written off/stolen... I know it's a cheapy but may be worth a look?!
Great starter (I have the 450D) but as said the kit lens is useless, I barely use mine, tend to leave the 50mm on it. Really need to invest in a decent walkabout myself.
EDIT: just seen the post above, good point and TBF the kit lens was enough to keen me happy for 6-8 weeks before I was...
