With all due respect though Tony - EBC Green Stuff are about as much use as putting thinly slized cheddar in your calipers :D
The more track orientated stuff they do is ok though
It's not what you know... lol
My old 106 - the guy tried to tilt the seats forward so he could get in the back and check the rear seatbelts - failed it straight away when he couldn't.
I had to go home and remove the rear seats to get it through
You've cooked the hell out of those - the friction material has come unstuck lol
I nearly cooked my ds2500's at Donington - Have you thought about running some cooling pipes from fog light holes and some deflector plates just to get some cold air to the calipers?
It's definitely a failure - and for very logical reasons. If you crash and the car bursts into flames, the poor b******s in the back have to sit and calmly wind the seat forward lol
I had to remove my rear seats to get an MOT in my old car for that exact reason.
I'm kinda bored of it now - I don't know if they're trying to hype it up or they're scared to tell people where it is. I suspect the latter TBH. :(
The PFC website has been down for like 6 months now too. They need to pay for a proper developer rather than relying on favours.
I am seriously...
That's not technically folding lol
Also it's an MOT failure. On a 3 door car with rear seats the front seats must tilt forward to allow access in case of an emergency
That's very very strange. Only time it should do that really is if it's not being called by apache
Edit: Wait what? It's being run from root? What do you mean?
It should always be set to something - it's set by apache to the IP address the TCP request came from
Only time it's not set as far as I know is if the php script is run from command line/shell
It seems really daft - the people on the pre-show-organisation group have been told for a while now, it's booked (hence the dates being announced) but their holding back the location announcement.
Doesn't make a lot of sense
Not much of a problem then - except I'd stick a captcha on the contact form
Might wanna check if any publicly accessible forms save straight to databases though :)
This is the argument I nearly had on the bridgetogantry discussion. People saying it's long overdue as race cars shouldn't be allowed on TF days - which I agree with as they hoon around like it's a proper race.
But I think it's unfair to penalise everyone with a "track prepped" car who just...
postgre sql injection attempt, and a few others. Probing to see what database your site is running and whether it's open to sql injection in general.
Why are they coming through on email though? Is it a contact form or something?
They don't fold as it's a 5 door so you can only slide them forward on the clio subframes which is a bit useless
As said the integra ones are better
Recaro do a set of subframes that bolt to the clio standard sliders - I used it with my old recaro speeds. Works lovely
I agree - when I was there last time there was a time attack astra using the tourist day as a shakedown
I just hope it doesn't spill over to cars like mine that are specced for occasional track days.
It's going to be difficult for them to stop the pro race cars using it as testing time and...
Yeah been reading about that - it seems to be door bars higher than dash, unpadded cages and bucket seats that wrap around stopping you from looking to the side.
I'm waiting to see what people say who go in the first half of the year.
Yeah I want to get european cover (ring trips) and windscreen cover etc... Motorsport insurance is fine but if something goes through the windscreen while I'm out having a weekend blast I don't want the £££'s bill lol
Yeah just the underseal on the bottom of the car - If you don't clean it off first it just catches fire lol
He should have a tin lying around to just brush back on after
I'd recommend a thin metal sheet and a layer of fire proof matting - just wedge it between the tank and the wall you weld...
Neil - can you guys cover cars with full roll cages in? My clio cup is obviously a track car so is very modified. A lot of companies I ring won't insure roll cages any more :(
What cage is it?
I had an OMP fitted to mine and you have to weld in floor plates in the usual places for the main hoop
We shoved some fire proof matting between that panel and the fuel tank and just took our time. Had the car jacked up with someone underneath keeping an eye on it and a...
I got a massive gob full from some chav in a corsa who did this when I picked it up and threw it back through the passenger window onto his girlfriend.
There's no need to be that much of a c*nt

Took the front of the dials - bit of black tape over the light - bobs your uncle
Same with the engine management lights too as my omex lit the dash up like a christmas tree lol
Not had a problem with the...
