Harpham, not sure if I am in a position to offer advice as I'm a massive noob compared to some of the people posting in here and you seem to take some really good shots already, but the nifty fifty is a great shout if you don't have one.
I was the same, on the look out for something with a bit...
Naith has wheel studs and bolts on his "dark knight" if I remember from his TDK progress thread?!
His is a 225 though, no idea if the spacing is the same as R26? Might be worth an ask?
Fuji Hs10 was what I was looking at before I got my 450d... The HS10 seemed like one of the best bridge cameras out there with great versatility (zoom was fairly huge). I'd recommend going to jessops and trying a few out and see what you like!
There are a couple of people on here who take...
Just got back!! Really nice hotel... Nice shot's Dan (as always*) think you captured the scene slightly better than I managed to lol :o
Was ideal wedding venue and I managed to get some great photos of the bride and groom on the jetty!
*I'm taking notes
I like the QR code idea, we use them at work and they are very handy!!
Tricky to find a medium between minimalist and showing off your work on such a small space!!
Mixed views after a read... C pillar or lower rear seatbelt mount both appear acceptable in some peoples eyes?!
Obviously very open to debate and personal opinion as some harness companies appear to imply that they should bolt near the iso bar! With standard seats i'd have to say your current...

Just dug that out for you harness lovers :rasp:
Heard mounting angle should ideally be within 20 degree of both the horizontal and lateral points adjacent to where the harnesses meet the seats if that makes sense? Someone correct me if I am wrong on that?!
Really was an amazing island! I was caught out on this occasion and normally get away with it, but am terrible for trying to fit too much into the photo, especially when using prime 50mm. I do the same with cars, portraits etc...
In future I will have to make a conscious effort to take a few...
Mauritius, just got back from my Girlfriends sisters wedding! Nice break but the coral was lethal!!
:o Newbie alert!! I had literally filled the frame up with so much photo subject that I had run out of rotational cropping area by the time they were processed!!
As said though, valuable...
Dan those photos are brilliant, massive fan of all your stuff!!
Couple from me :) bit over processed but I'm still a DSLR newb who likes to play with effects!!
I don't think either of these shots are wide enough and as a result I was unable to crop the images parallel to the horizon...
Not bad mate. Looks pretty good, any safety implications on standard seats? Did you bolt into the iso bar in the end?...
The more I look at standard seats the more I want to swap mine :( Eric looks like he is having fun!
Jim, as always.... Overwhelmed by the time you put in to your work and the results you seem to consistently achieve!!
Would love a full correction detail by someone in the know at some point!
From memory:
2 plastic head screw/stopper things that are obvious when you open the bonnet, located in the top corner of each side of the grill, should prise out with a flat head screwdriver...
Move the bonnet shut sensor thingy....again obvious from looking when your there...
Then work your...
Cheers, but I can't take full credit!!
I used Hycote grey plastic primer and a satin black rattle can... Looks miles better!
Brillo pad is just enough to rough it up but doesn't key too deep, just be sure to wash off all the plastic filings/dust before spraying!
