Or, in other words, no. The more time you spend driving it, the more you'll get used to the timings, and what gears you need to be in to keep the car in the powerband. Not adjustable, without going to some new cams/ remaps etc.

The resistors are good. Affects fuelling a bit, but if you want better power delivery, you burn more fuel i guess!
