Yeah i like that one too :)
Just same shampoo and an old washmitt, they were powdercoated only a few weeks ago so was nothing too major, just rubbed straight off!
99% it wasn't a bike, as this is a seerate off site carpark, bikes part on site.
Was something blue as there were blue marks on the bumper.
Re re wheels, might look better if they were a proper colour then it might be better.
Won't be going back to them lol!
Will get them done pro instead of a backstreet place, get what you pay for and all that...!
It is a really bad finish, had to accept them though as I had sold my other wheels, bad times.
At least they are clean though ;)
Thanks for the comments.
Wheels are a dodgy shade of silver/white because my powdercoaters fucked up (long story!) not sure whether to go anthracite or high power silver, but no money at the minute so will have to stay as they are for now.
If I find out who has caused the bump then I will...
Gave it a good going over today, wheels off, arches a quick scrub, EGP'd the wheels etc.
Also got out the results of a hit and run in my works carpark yesterday, gutted when someone asked me if I'd crashed my car, ran outside and it was there with no-one to be seen, no note, nothing reported...
I covered my old ones in copper slip, EVERYTHING stuck to it!
I bought some teflon dry push bike chain lube spray stuff, seemed to work better as it sprays on dry.
Changes were due to getting decent deals on the coilovers, but back to sportlines as i needed the AST money for my R6 that I bought.
The sportlines make my car faster and better on the road, no doubt about it. On a smooth road the coils would be a lot better, but how many of them do we have...
In my opinion better than coilies, but on track coils will come into their own.
A few old ones of mine, before and after:
And a recent one of it now, but not the best pic:
Go for the sportlines mate, subtle drop which looks nicer but not obviously lowered.
I had sportlines, then went through 2 sets of coilovers which were both over 1k's worth, and now i'm back with sportlines wondering why i ever swapped!
Personally mate, I would get him to MOT it, unless you can go and have a really good look over the car and are confident what needs doing, offer him less for the car, the money off MOT's it and it all works out cheaper.
I'd just wait though dude.
Botching is called a spelling error, are you really trying to get one over on me latching on to clicking a wrong letter?!
I know there are a lot of people on here around my age with 182's, so just after a rough idea, have I not already said I'm doing the ringing round, just wondering what to...
If I do a quote with the claim and points, and a quote without there is no difference.
I'm not botching about it, just expected it cheaper I thought someone as old as yourself would have a bit more maturity to be honest, now stop clogging the thread with pointless shite.
Chipsaway guy I don't rate to be honest.
Advanced Autobody on Sandown Rd (off Ascot Drive) is the best around, not the cheapest but worth it :)
You got a private reg on your car by any chance?
Not sure how that is funny?!
D is middle of the road, not good and not bad.
Yeah but I'm guessig you are a hell of a lot older than me, in which case that means your input is pointless!
