what lowering springs, and where should i get them from??

I ran my 1.2's on 60mm PI's for 2 years in total on std shocks and had no problems, thats one of those myths that people bang on about but have never had experience with. Ride quality won't be much good, back end will be stiff as, but will look cool and makes them handle a lot better on a...

what lowering springs, and where should i get them from??

Only ones to get are -60mm ones, apex or pi, the ride isn't great but if your young that doesn't matter, show over go on 1.2's. If you need a hand fitting and aren't far drop me a pm.

How to remove full wiper arms?

Yes, you might smash the windscreen being a t**t trying to lever them off with a claw hammer.

    Clio Euro Project.....

This is gonna be awesome, banded steels are the choice of legends. My opinion: Get the side strips smoothed too though dude, and the number plate recess on the front. Smoothe the boot handle thing, but not the numberplate as otherwise it looks way too plain, need something there to break it...

My Clio, from start to now...

I know :( But then people may confuse it with one of those poverty stricken cups....;) Doug, you'll have to wait and see!

My Clio, from start to now...

Cheers Doug, they were awesome but no need for them now so I thought I may as well get rid. Super light too! I ruined them a bit doing them matt black looking at it, should have left them how they were but you live and learn I guess, the new owner has interesting plans with them!

    clio 172 advise mpg etc

Easily yes, but not on a short journey where the engine is cold. I got 50mpg doing a constant 65mph for 100miles solid, but short journeys drink fuel.

    Not been on in ages

Looks good mate, silver calipers and it is perfect.

    clio 172 advise mpg etc

I get around 32mpg, on pretty clear roads going 6 miles to work, thats driving nice and steady cos it isn't warm, I think 35mpg may be a little optimistic.

^ I'm torn on Anthracite as before or Silver for them to be honest, I'm thinking a nice bright high power silver, but Anthracite does look so good..... It did sit better on the AST's, but in a way I prefer it now, feel like I'm growing up a bit (20 haha) and after a more standard kind of car!

    Stud Conversions

Easier to change wheels and run spacers, wheel sits straight on them and stay on while you mess fitting the nuts, instead of balancing it on and finding a hole for the original bolts. Just makes it that bit easier.

    Stud Conversions

Personally I'd not go for anoidised ones, think it may look a bit tacky, unless they were anodised black or something... The rally deisgns stuff is quite good quality, i bought some for a mock up college project I'm doing at the minute.
  29. Pep

    Stud Conversions

Buy them from rally designs. Can pick the kits bit by bit, but they don't do anodised nuts.

Car Failed MOT 182 cup!! sad face

^ Which Lambda would you say Haz? I paid 50 from GSF for my new one, Bosch too. Remember to ask for owners club discount Paul if you buy from them. GSF are cheaper than CES when you take away the 10% discount.
