Maybe get some quotes from the trader section on here or ring around a couple of places for cam belt & aux belt quotes and use them as negotiation...looking at least £400-£500 for someone who knows what they're doing. Price sounds a bit on the high side to me...

This explains a lot! Last time I tried it I was taking about 10 seconds a shift with the extra clutch depress and release :o! Am I right in thinking you can just: brake, depress clutch, blip throttle to rev match, down shift, release clutch?

I just fitted a KTEC (pipercross) panel after hearing that the ITG was more restrictive.... Has made no difference as far as I am aware, but I did have a fairly clean standard one in before.

I'm wondering this as well, currently running 195's front and 205's rear (on the car when I got it). Search throws up various arguments for and against, price/alloy protection/grip/weight etc... Just curious for when I replace what is preferred and will you notice any differences day to day?
