Ah...I used to see it about all the time before I went off to Uni. 3 years later, I'm back home and it's still in the same spot! Looks like a really nice example as well.
Often parked outside the parade of shops at the top of Longlands Rd. **54 ZFR I think.
Is it anyone on here? It's been local for years and it always used to catch my eye, spotted it driving home tonight.
I'm on standard pads and disks...never considered a stone but suppose that's feasible. The English weather/cold pads explanation would also makes a lot of sense.
I've quite literally been perving over this video on youtube for the past 4 weeks. Guessed it must be someones on here...that sound always puts a massive grin on my face!
I sometimes get this as well. Brakes really well on smooth ground but feels like it's biting and releasing (sort of sounds like the pads are scratching around for grip on the disks) when braking on poor or very bumpy road surfaces. That said, it still seems to pull up to a halt in the same...
The whiteline ARB seems to be a CS choice mod atm :) Exhaustwise I'm still undecided, want to try and get to a few meets cos I've trawled youtube and still can't decide.
Tried to get hold of the Yozza cat back that went up for sale on here last week but it literally sold within the hour. Also...
Haha yeah sorry about the copious amounts of waving (always nice when someone acknowledges, rather than hasn't got a clue why your waving and thinks your mental). I've seen your project thread and the car looks well :) ... The Milltek is sitting nicely, makes me want push forward my exhaust...
Drove practically next to you all the way from the 50 restrictions at Jct 11ish right the way round to the M25/M20 split where you carried on to the M20. I was in the BG 182 and exchanged a polite wave!
Car looked very tidy, anyone one here?
Well up there with the tidiest "non sports" on the forum...love the wheel and stance on this, and can't believe the difference it makes with the front reg off for pics!!
I learned to drive in a C2 1.1, ins group 1!! Very VERY slow and also rated fairly safe in a crash compared to most other hatchbacks hence the low insurance....I expect the safety thing is a common theme across the range.
I had the exact same problem on my saxo, wheel nuts had rusted and been overtightened. Couldn't shift them after bending the wheel wrench nor with an extender bar... One embarrassed garage trip later and they'd been buzzed off with the gun
Assuming it's the one off here from the weekend then it is YOU SIR who beat me to it!! Hope it's all in good nick and you enjoy it etc:)...(jealous much!)
That would have been music to my ears when I got my 182 lol "Oh yes....that car's been well looked after by me and James"
Car looks mint....paint work is drool worthy in that pic
Insurance £85 (that would be split monthly as I just paid in full)
Petrol £200
Tax - £20
Total - approx £305 a month
Last month it was also treated to Aux belt, power steering pump, spark plugs & air filter circa £800, makes me very sad writing that down!!
