Aye, bit confusing mate, but been told it this way round by a few people. Think its what fred meant in post above by checking if his had the cup packs or not. Check rory's thread on the difficulty he's had in getting dampers to fit his non packed 182...

182's with cup packs, and 182's without have different fitments to each other guys... But as far as im aware, matt had a cup packed 182, so these should fit yours daz.

Ah, i see. So its the abs sensor that stops the wheel spin, by telling the esp to reduce power to those wheels. But not the abs itself?

What does abs do?? Abs, or the 'anti-lock braking system' stops the wheels from locking up on the limit of braking grip, by pumping the brakes on and off really quickly...

You can do it, but will be a very bumpy ride. I had it on stock shocks for a while, but in the end went for the dampers also. Handled mint with both on.
