If they have a front splitter, it will be the same. Some dont have the splitter fitted at all, but the ones that do, all have the same bit of black plastic.

Nope, all the same mate (you mean the front chin spoiler right?) The cup has a different rear spoiler though. Most 182's have the cup packs fitted, which gives you the front splitter and cup rear spoiler though.

Either way, if they wanted the car called in that badly they'd do something about it mate. You're in charge here, not the seller, dont go anywhere at someone elses say so, its an un-needed risk.

If the dvla wanted to check it, wouldnt they contact you? I wouldnt go and meet the seller again just at his request, if they think its a ringer id wait for the police or dvla to contact you mate. Sounds a bit sus him asking this of you.

No, they'll be fine mate ^^ mainly the disc that heats up, and the paint wouldnt make much difference either way. Anyways, as for the paint, get a tin of hammerite metal paint instead. Much cheaper, does the same job.
