probably not but why would you want to pay for a contract your not going to be using...

197 are very worthy of a remap. top end gain is minimal, but mid-range torque is a big improvement. less than £200 for the fastchip RSTuner so well worth it! And no, they wont know its been remapped unless they specifically look for mapping, which they wont in normal circumstances

its the 1.6 8v. was intended as a cheap upgrade for lower spec'd cars. Standard tune was 90bhp though reacted very well to breathing mods. Mine was like a different car with free flow exhaust and decat

sounds like a plan to me. if its not an everyday use car it doesnt matter if it breaks! I say do it, just be prepared to engine rebuild eventually
