For a decent job, I very much doubt that. I didn't get much change from that sum for a front end respray and wheel refurb. You get what you pay for with most things and paint is definitely one of them.
Just a few photos of my 182 at FCS '13. The car was 1 of 5 selected out of hundreds of applicants to be displayed in the Themed Paddock.
It was a good day out, made even better by the fact it was located on my door step this year. Was nice to meet and catch up with those of you I spoke to...
No mate the Tesco express just off the Bristol Ring Road in Warmley. It's Deanery Road.
Hoping to get there for about 7.45, I know Josh has to be there reasonably early as he is a sponsor and I am in the Themed Paddocks so have to arrive for before 8am.
Me and the CookSport boys are meeting at the Tesco Express petrol station just off the Bristol RingRoad (Warmley Junction) at 7am if you want to meet up with us mate.
I think the lines made the pedal feel less spongy than standard hoses although it wasn't a huge difference. Worth the £50-60 they cost though especially if your doing the fluid too. As for preference, most use Goodridge or HEL hoses just make sure you go for Stainless Steel ones.
My C2V3 just arrived. Going to apply a coat on Thursday before FCS.. Going to apply Tripple with a DA beforehand, do you think it's worth applying Illusion before the C2V3 or just apply it straight over the Tripple?
195's are the correct size for a 172 IIRC. Will get more grip from 205's as they are wider so more surface area on the road, 195's are cheaper. That's about the only difference really.
K5, down the other end then in the grassed area just before Quarry. I'm at G8 in the Themed Paddocks so will be sure to come down and have a peak at the CS standard. :)
