When I first got my 182 I thought the brakes were brilliant, really bit well. But after a bit of a drive fter the gym tonight i had major fade and I hadn't been pushing them stupidly hard, or even for a long amount if time, maybe 5 mins tops!
Just wondered if it's just because I have got used...
Hard to quote a price if i'm honest, havent got a clue about material prices and what you would value your time at.
I would want some unpainted as I'd decide on a colour myself.
Don't sell yourself short, should be a good service for people with screwed wheels so make sure you see a little...
You sound like a right chav.
No way will a 1.2 go 120mph actual speed, i'm guessing you've got some fat 17's on it so they'll mess up the speedo reading a treat so thats where your 120mph comes from, the top speed is 106mph according to Renault, and they don't have the power to hit the limiter...
As long as you make people aware of this then it's upto them, although I see your point.
What do they feel like to hold? I would definately be interested in a pair, I like the CF ones but think they would be a bit out of place in an otherwise standard interior, whereas I could just spray these...
Don't do it paul, if you damage the seats you'll be gutted!
I scratched the leather near the rear headrest on mine picking up some timber for my dad, never again! Gutting feeling when you notice it, then have to pull off the stuff and make it worse, but no other way :(
I know the DCI's, 1.4's and 1.6's have heavier steering than the 1.2's, but I was still under the impression that they were electric, and only the sports were hydraulic?
Haha, it's not a mansion mate, only 3 bed! Just used to be a pig farm so got the yard at the back, garage, carport and barn!
Thanks, I love the car! But alloys and coilovers are a long way off currently, no money!
What do you mean the house? Lost me mate!
Cheers Paul, I might try and get it slightly cleaner than yours.....;)
Thanks mate, get some taken.
Just buy one and be careful, or buy a pug one like me, flexible so can't be smashed!
That other Clio must have been hit with some force! I was done at about 10-15mph and it did nowhere near that damage, buckeled the floor etc, but couldnt tell form the outside as the bumper popped out.
Gutted about the accident, good look with it all.
Aye I'll give it a go when I get chance.
Mines on 35.5k.
Might have access to some ramps as a mate has just started at a garage as a mechanic, so will make it easier for me!
Yeah, I don't want a stainless one so need to try and keep this one on the car if I can!
Mine has done about 12k? maybe more than yours though, so will be worse!
I'll try and get some pics for you, but i just ant be bothered at the minute!
The ones I can see are where the tailpipes leave the backbox, on the welded joints there.
I guess my short journeys don't help with getting rid of the condensation, reason for more 50 mile country road blasts!
Exhaust wise, I think I'm gonna follow in Pauls footsteps, but have some slightly larger tips welded on aswell to make it look a bit better from the rear.
Not a fan of exhausts in all honesty, would do my head in when I just want to potter about, but I like the looks!
So I'll spray it to...
Not too sure to be honest, think they inputted my details incorrectly, but had to honour the price :D
Thats with a £500 excess too, so nothing too huge.
