Has anyone ever had a cut down rear number plate on their car?
My Private plate is V12 PEP so a bit shorter than the normal ones, wondered what it would look liek if I had it cut down shorter, but still with legal spacings and letters etc???
Hmm, thats quite a good idea I guess, but slipperly slope with things like this for me, gonna have to wait!
Black looks stunning when clean, but i don't often get chance, which is why i do a big job when i can liek this weekend.
I wouldn't mind some Weitecs, would be nice! But in no rush...
Yeah I do fancy some, but no cash at the minute!
Owe my dad £k's for the work he has done on my house etc, I feel guilty enough about having a nice car when I could give him a load but he knows I like my cars so he's ok with it!
But if I start spending £500 on wheels, £600 on coils etc, he's...
It's lowered on sportlines at the minute. hard to tell because of the slope the car is on, messes up the height.
This is how it sits on flat ground:
Coilovers are out of my reach for now, I havent got £600 spare!
Hmm, coils I want in a way, but at the same time the handling is awesome anyways, I think it sits nicely and is comfortable, but I am only young so comfort isn't my biggest issue!
They may come but not anytime soon.
Might be getting a Viper for it, but I don;t want an exhaust, not a fan of...
Yeah, I still want an Arctic blue one to be honest, but I think they look awesome in the Silver too.
Still contemplating some light tints and spraying a few bits anthracite to be honest, but not 100% as to what it would look like!
Had a good crack on my 182 this weekend. Had my wheels off to swap around, cleaned all the backs of them, and all the arches etc, so nice and clean under there. Waxed the wheels too so they are looking very nice at the minute.
Then washed, tar and bug remover used to clean it all up, clayed...
Thanks for the advice.
I never went to these levels though, just wacked on some Megs Carnuba stuff thats lying around not being used, looked nice when finished though.
Just an idea!
Was thinking:
Light tints
Anthracite badges
Smoked side repeaters
Vinyl roof thing
Already got the wheels as said, and it's lowered on sportlines so sits nicely without looking low.
Got my wheels off to swap around and clean....do I just use normal car body wax on them to help protect them?
I have some meguiars stuff to use up, is that ok?
Thought just popped into my head thats come from the VW scene.
Considering I have anthracite wheels, was thinking, would an anthracite roof look any good?!
Just a vinyl one that can be removed anyways, but I don't think they are expensive and may look cool?
Any ideas?!
Feel free to photshop!
I'm F/C, 2 years no claims.
Not sure why its so much with them, had other quotes around £1700 mark, but I'm 4 months through my policy and didnt fancy cancelling.
Must be the postcodes mate, mine is D I think, in the middle of the range?
Donkeys hollow is awesome, not enough corners though!
Yeah I've seen it too, was a very nice car.
Part of me wishes I got it as I love the blue!
I didn't buy it obviously, not too sure on the reason really, just wanted to look around at a few others too and then the one i bought came up and was 'the one' as they say. But it was definately a nice...
Yep, 1.2 16v, Lupo GTi, Volvo 360 GLT (runaround) then the 182.
Insurance was £1800, a lot, but worth it in my opinion, wanted one for as long as i can remember.
