Thats at Birchdown. I think the genuine parts bump the price up, but taking that into account along with the insurance hike leaves me with the £1100 in the bank, so its all cool.

Yeah it must be them two. It's actually a good replica bodywork wise, bar the exhaust, lowering, and wheels/offset. The other car would be the 172 but a bit of a 182 replica.

Shouldn't be much, at 19 with 2NCB a 1.6 was the same price as my 1.2. Norwich Union have always been good for me, just try every company you can think of.

I know a lad who makes manifolds for bike carbs onto cars, easy job and not very expensive. Also according to a lad who has fitted carbs to 2 of his cars it's fairly easy with a bit of technical know how

Sorry to hijack, but I have Weitecs on my Lupo and they are awesome. Never been in a car with H&R's admittadly but I doubt you will be anything but stunned by the ride and handling. I'm down about 70mm and I can go over draincovers and hardly feel anything, nice and stiff but very well damped.
